Manage Something
In a world where it is easy to feel out of control, sometimes it can help to manage a small piece in order to gain perspective. We have been managing 10 acres for 20 years, but in some ways it is really managing each tree individually. From the moment we selected individual trees, planted them, watered them, and watched each grow, we were managing small and rich communities. Seeing the incredible diversity of life and interactions grow over time puts other things into perspective.
