About this Guide
Home Stretch
I hope everyone is hanging in there, we are in our final module of course content and it has been a wild ride! I can’t remember working this hard and having so much fun at the same time. We are going to have to count up the number of videos, photos, web pages, and road miles. I have learned a lot and hope you have too, and that this is just the start of our nature adventures.

Behind-the-Scenes
Media Adventures
Coloring books for adults are incredibly popular. One of the best ways to learn about a subject is to color in outlines of what you are trying to learn. It is how we learned human anatomy, and you can create your own line sketches for others to color in.
Sometime this term it has really felt like we are taking the class with us into the field, something that has not been logistically manageable with hundreds of students at a time.
Getting Full
We had no idea how many specimens, books, and animals would make their way into the cargo container while developing this course.

More Gardening Adventures
Seed Dreams
Everyone seems to be gardening! Not only is is a possible source of nutritional and less expensive food, it can also connect us with the natural world. If you have access to a plot of land or a sunny window, order your seeds early; they keep selling out!
Jiffy Pots
With gardening, sometimes the simplest pleasures are the best. If you have never added water to dry peat pots and watched them swell, this year is the year to try it!
Along with gardening, many people are heading to trails for a bit of exercise and to reconnect with nature. Although many plans are currently on hold and budgets are tight, adventures in nature close to home can be rewarding.
