About this Guide

Be a Kid

It is really easy in science to take yourself too seriously.  We often equate seriousness to rigor and results.  And to be honest, we do encounter significant issues that impact people and the survival of organisms and their ecosystems.  But as science teachers, we’re supposed to spread the joy of independent learning and experiencing the world in new ways.  Or at least that’s the excuse we use every time we veer into the parking lot of a petting zoo :).
