How is this course structured?

Ten modules that explore genetics, evolution, and animal behaviors.

Animal Biology is comprised of ten modules that involve exploring, describing, and explaining the natural world. Each module has two guides with mini-lectures, demos, activities, questions, and journaling.

What can I expect to learn?

This course is built around three learning outcomes.

From the three basic outcomes, there are nine more specific groups of learning objectives.

What will I produce?

Quiz Responses and Media Pieces.

Each week you will be producing quiz responses and media pieces that are uploaded to Canvas, an online learning system. You will be assembling quiz responses and media pieces into a final animal portfolio that ties course outcomes to learning beyond the course.
