Module 1

Week 1 lectures are Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., in LInC 100. 

There are no labs the first week, and the scheduled recitation time is an optional office hour.  

This week’s Discovery Module has two online guides (Knowledge & Research) that complement the corresponding Tuesday and Thursday lectures.  Understanding of this material is assessed on the online Canvas quiz due by Sunday 11:59 PT.  In the first guide, you will also be introduced to a note-taking media piece, and in the second guide you will be introduced to a field kit media piece.  Both media pieces are also due by Sunday, 11:59 PT.
